Eastern Europe
The 13 countries that form Eastern Europe are Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Albania (not to forget as number 13!). These are countries with a unique and historical past. It was therefore very difficult for me to pick one of them as an “eye-catcher,” so to speak!
This is why you choose a trip to Eastern Europe

Roadtrip
A road trip with friends or family is the best recommendation I can give you for Eastern Europe. There’s simply so much to see, and the beaches and lakes are a must for relaxation. I honestly can’t pick just one spot that appeals to me the most, which is why a road trip is the ideal choice.

2. If you love palaces and castles, then Prague Castle is a must-see. Prague Castle forms one of the largest enclosed palace complexes in the world. Its frontage alone is half a kilometer long. The castle is the largest castle in the world, with an area of 7.5 hectares.

8. Well, a paradise on your trip certainly can’t be missed: the Rock City in Bohemian Paradise, Czech Republic. Mainly climbers visit this place, but even if you’re not a climber, this is simply a spot where you absolutely must stop to see it. Specifically, you absolutely cannot miss the underground caves of Bozkov. Tip: It’s only 7 degrees Celsius underground all year round, so you’ll need a warm blanket, hat, or jacket! And you can conveniently purchase these exact items through the same webshop where you bought your entrance tickets. It’s never been made easier for you than this.

Even while writing about a road trip, it’s easy to forget about the other surrounding countries like Serbia, Romania, and North Macedonia. But as I said, this is a road trip with a lot of (writing) kilometers! Lastly, I can’t leave out Pripyat National Park in Belarus, known for its incredible flora and fauna. If you want to see the lives of 51 mammal species, these forests are the place to be. For instance, Turaŭ is a city with a historic center dating back to the Middle Ages and is one of the oldest Slavic cities.
